I’m A Type A Girl - I have a love for logistics and details, which means creating spreadsheets, timelines, and checklists put me in my happy place! I thrive in the midst of chaos because my brain has most likely already thought of a plan A, B, & C.

I’m A Dog Mom - I’m a dog mom to our angel furbaby, Charlie. And Bailey, my sweet 10-year-old black pit mix (and honorary executive assistant).

Want to know what makes me, well…me?

I was raised in a small, tight-knit town in Georgia where family and community were at the heart of everything. It was the kind of place where everyone knew everyone—or at least someone who did—fostering a warmth and sense of belonging I’ll never forget. Sundays meant church followed by family lunches, afternoons spent fishing at my great-grandma’s pond, and 4th of July celebrations and town Easter egg hunts were highlights of the year. That small-town upbringing taught me the value of connection, hospitality, and caring for others—values I carry into every wedding I plan. My goal is always to create a welcoming atmosphere, make my couples feel at ease, and treat them like family.

My first introduction to the wedding world came from my grandmother, a talented seamstress who spent her days altering bridesmaid dresses and crafting wedding gowns. She even made me a tiny wedding dress for my dress-up collection—a memory that still feels magical. Watching her pour her heart into those creations taught me the beauty of detail, hard work, and the joy of helping others feel special.

Life eventually brought me to Dallas, Texas, where I now call home. My husband and I moved here in 2020 after having to postpone our wedding then having an intimate elopement. (Eventually, we did have get to celebrate at our re-scheduled wedding in 2021!)

Planning my own wedding was a wild, emotional, & overwhelming journey—living in different states, managing reschedules, and navigating some major family health challenges. But having an incredible planner by my side gave us the space to focus on what truly mattered - our family and our love. My planning experience taught me firsthand how emotional and unpredictable wedding planning can be and opened my eyes to just how meaningful and impactful a great planner can be. It inspires how I show up for my couples today as their calm, supportive presence.

I’ve always had one foot in the creative world—whether it was at dance competitions or painting as a kid—but over time, I also discovered a love for logistics. Wedding planning lets me blend both sides of myself. Whether I’m crafting a unique wedding vision or solving logistical challenges, I thrive on balancing creativity and organization to create extraordinary celebrations.

At my core, I’m someone who values connection and community. I believe in building relationships, having meaningful conversations, and making people feel like they belong. My goal is to take the overwhelming parts of planning off your plate so you can focus on what truly matters: celebrating your love story with the people who mean the most to you. With a little Southern warmth, a lot of heart, and a touch of creative flair, I’m here to make your wedding day everything you’ve ever dreamed of—and more.

With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, I’ve seen it all—and I can’t wait to put that knowledge to work for you. My journey into wedding planning has been filled with twists, turns, and SO much learning, and I’d love to share a bit about how I got here.

  • I’ve been in the hospitality and events world for over a decade, and let me tell you—I’ve worn a lot of hats along the way! From managing teams and pulling off community events to curating large-scale festivals and navigating the world of venue management. My journey has always been about creating unforgettable experiences!

  • The moment I knew the wedding industry was where I belonged was during my own wedding. Between family health challenges, living in different states, and having a wedding in the midst of a pandemic, planning felt like an emotional rollercoaster at times. But having an amazing planner by my side let me focus on what really mattered—our love and family. That experience opened my eyes to the power of a great planner & vendor team, and I knew I wanted to be that calm, organized presence for couples navigating their own journeys.

  • In 2020, I dove headfirst into the wedding world as a Venue Manager, and everything just clicked. I managed over 150 events a year for almost 3 years.

    I worked closely with incredible vendors—caterers, florists, DJs, and photographers—and handled everything from contracts to budgeting for all-inclusive packaging and everything in between to make sure every event ran smoothly. I created in house vendor packages, built relationships with preferred vendors, and became the main point of contact for clients. This role gave me a true behind-the-scenes look at how every aspect of an event ties together, from catering to entertainment, and how essential it is to keep everything organized, on time, and within budget to make it happen!

  • Before I found my love for weddings, I wore quite a few hats in the events world! I was an Assistant General Manager at a brand-new waterpark, where I helped build systems, hiring protocols, and a work culture that made people actually excited to come to work (imagine that!).

    As a Marketing Manager, I got to flex my creative side, planning everything from large-scale festivals to holiday events like Breakfast with Santa, Easter egg hunts in a laser tag arena, and even help host & manage the town’s Christmas parade. It was a wild mix of fun, logistics!

  • Over the years, I’ve picked up some pretty valuable skills that make me the planner I am today—problem-solving, budgeting, creativity, adaptability, and communication are just the highlights. I’ve learned how to keep cool in tough situations, roll with last-minute changes, and collaborate with teams to pull off seamless events. Along the way, I’ve built amazing relationships with vendors and discovered the magic of bringing all the little details together to create events that are not only beautiful but truly unforgettable.

  • Starting Jenna Marie Events just felt like the right move to combine my love for all things logistics with my passion for creating unforgettable experiences. I absolutely love bringing each couple’s unique love story to life through their wedding. For me, it’s not just about designing a beautiful event—it’s about crafting a day full of joy, love, and memories that will last long after the big day.

I’m all about a vanilla oat milk latte—hot or iced, depending on the season. OR an espresso martini depending on the time of day (and type of day!)

Describe your perfect Sunday.
Start the day with a walk with Bailey, sip coffee on the porch, then brunch. Throw in a little antique shopping, a stroll through a cute downtown, a sunset cocktail, some live music, and you’ve got my ideal Sunday!

What’s your guilty pleasure TV Show?
I’m all in on reality TV. Love Island, anyone?

Favorite Foods?
Brunch, Chick-fil-A, all the Italian food, and my ultimate meal: a fresh Caesar salad with fries on the side. Oh, and ranch—on almost everything.
